PURCHASING SERVICES

Alabaska Inc.'s mission is to provide a complete procurement package. From the design phase to the specification component to the installation exercise, Alabaska inc. ensures that no aspect of the procurement process is left to chance. As purchasing agents, our objective is to achieve maximum cost savings whilst, simultaneously, providing the highest quality of goods and coordinating their timely delivery.

We collaborate closely with the design, construction and operating teams to ensure a seamless transition from the start to the finish of a project. The management process is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client and facilitate the task of bringing a project to a successful conclusion.

Alabaska inc. aims at offering you a cost effective and comprehensive approach to the purchasing process.

Following is a list of activities provided:

  • Outlining of supply, installation and budgetary responsibilities
  • Budget development and adherence
  • Participation in value engineering review
  • Product sourcing alternatives
  • Expediting with timely updates
  • Complete co-ordination of furniture, fixtures  and equipment (FF&E) installation

The bulk of the purchasing is based on the FF&E specifications issued by the Interior Designers and the balance is based on the list of equipment and operating supplies requested by the operator. Taking care of every detail, Alabaska inc. will provide a complete list of supplies and FF&E to be sourced and tendered.

In addition we will:

  • Produce samples, strike-off prototypes and alternatives to review well in advance of purchase commitment
  • Supply all specification documents to insure a smooth installation process
  • Verify delivery of all materials to a designated warehouse or third party
  • Provide updated committed cost summaries and procurement status budget reports

To insure a smooth project implementation Alabaska inc. will:

  • Assure the co-ordination of the installation and work in a close manner with the installation team
  • Co-ordinate and control delivery schedules
  • Manage with our installation team, all receiving documentation and warehousing
  • Insure security of all deliveries
  • Provide a deficiency follow-up and claim filing
  • Provide punch list updates and completion
